What exactly is a founding member?
A founding member is one of the first 12 professionals to secure a suite at our Lake Union location before we officially open. Founding members receive permanent benefits — locked-in rates, full marketing support, featured placement, and exclusive status — that will never be offered to anyone who joins after.
How long is the founding member rate locked in?
Your founding rate is locked in for as long as you remain a Shops Plus member. It never increases. Members who join after the founding phase will pay standard rates, which will be higher.
What if it doesn’t work out? Am I locked into a long lease?
No. Founding members get a flexible 90-day exit clause. If Shops Plus is not the right fit within your first 90 days, you can walk away. We believe in our model enough to remove your risk entirely.
When does the Lake Union location open?
The Lake Union, Seattle location is scheduled to open in 2026. Founding members who reserve now will have first choice of suite selection and configuration before anyone else.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Yes, you bring your own professional equipment and tools. Your suite comes move-in ready with all infrastructure — utilities, Wi-Fi, HVAC, keyless entry, and Smart Space technology — included.
